Kentucky – Tennesse Series -- The inaugural Kentucky/Tennesse Games were scheduled on June 28, 2006. The teams played a best of 3 series beginning at 2:00 pm. This year was played at Western Kentucky University. Players had to participate in all East/West practices, games, and the banquet on the weekend of June 16-18 to be eligible for the Kentucky All Star Team. East/West Information

Game 1 – Tennessee 3, Kentucky 1

Game 2 – Tennessee 3, Kentucky 0

Campus Map – The softball field is near the baseball field (number 11 on the Campus Map). The softball field is at the corner of Creason Dr. and University Blvd. See the Campus Map.

Players for the Kentucky team were selected from the East and West Senior Teams on the weekend of June 16-18.
10:00 am -- Team Practice at (Kentucky team will practice at Western Kentucky University / Tennessee team will practice at Greenwood High School)
Noon – Lunch for both teams provided by Ryan’s Steakhouse in Bowling Green
1:00 pm – Pictures at Western Kentucky University Softball Field
1:10 pm – Warmups for both Teams
1:50 pm – Pre-game ceremonies, gift exchandge between teams during player introductions
The series will consist of the best 2 out of 3 games
2:00 pm – Game 1
3:30 pm (approx.) – Homerun Derby – The top five hitters from KY and TN will have 10 swings each. Then the top hitter from each state will each get swings to determine the champion.
4:00 pm – Game 2
6:00 pm – Game 3 (if needed)
