The 2011 Kentucky-Tennessee
All Star Series was held on June 30 at Vol
State Community College in Galatin, Tennessee. Directions
to Vol State.
Kentucky
won the series 2-1, winning the first game 7-4, losing the 2nd 2-0,
and winning the final game 2-1. Andrea
Whelan had 2 homeruns in the first game (one grandslam), and pitched 4 innings
in game one and all 5 in game two to earn both wins and MVP honors for the
series. KY won the decisive game in the
bottom of the 5th with Brooklyn Hesterberg scoring from 2nd
base on Gloriann Corderos base hit.

Kentucky/Tennessee
All Stars Series History
Kentucky Tennesse Series -- The inaugural Kentucky/Tennesse Games were played on June 28, 2006. The teams played a best of 3 series beginning at 2:00 pm at Western Kentucky University. Selection for the Kentucky Team has come from a panel of coaches from the seniors that participated in the East/West All Star Weekend. Click here for East/West Information.
