Coach Griggs is the head softball coach at Lexington
Catholic High School. He also
teaches math and keyboarding. He has coached the Lexington Catholic Softball
Team since the 1993 season. He also coached football for LC for 10 seasons. During the summer of 1998 while taking a
class (on web pages) for his masters degree at Georgetown
College, he had seen some good web
pages for different sports and associations. For his class project he decided
to create web pages for the softball coaches association. Coach Griggs then proposed the idea to the
coaches at the annual softball coaches association meeting in January, 1999. The
proposal was passed, and then the construction of the web pages began. Griggs
has begun using his basic web page knowledge to start piecing the web page
together. He has been using the internet, Dr.
David Forman (a professor in the Education Department at Georgetown College), and Josh Blandford (the
webmaster at Lexington Catholic) as resources for getting his web page
started. |
