All Star Note! -- Important for participants

The Hall of Fame and Player Reception will not be a banquet with a meal. This year, it will be a reception only. Fall of Fame Inductees (and their guests) and East-West Players/Coaches (and their guests) will be admitted for free (since there is no meal being served). This will be at the Campbell House in Lexington at 8:00 pm on Saturday, June 14, 2008.

Friday, June 13, 2008

• All players must check-in with All Star Directors between 2:00 and 4:30 pm at the Crowne Plaza Campbell House Inn.
• Practices will be as follows:

o East Seniors will practice from 5:00 to 6:30 pm at UK Softball (directions). All East Senior players and coaches will meet in the Campbell House lobby at 4:40 pm to leave for practice at UK. Players may then drive to practice (approx. a mile). Those players that need a ride may ride with other players or coaches.

o West Seniors will practice from 6:30 to 8:00 pm at UK Softball (http://www.kyhighschoolsoftball.com/e-wmaps2006.htmdirections). All West Senior players and coaches will meet in the Campbell House lobby at 6:10 pm to leave for practice at UK. Players may then drive to practice (approx. a mile). Those players that need a ride may ride with other players or coaches.

o East Juniors will practice from 5:00 to 6:30 pm at Lexington Catholic High School (http://www.kyhighschoolsoftball.com/e-wmaps2006.htmdirections). All East Junior players and coaches will meet in the Campbell House lobby at 4:40 pm to leave for practice at Lexington Catholic. Players may then drive to practice (approx. a mile). Those players that need a ride may ride with other players or coaches.

o West Juniors will practice from 6:30 to 8:00 pm at Lexington Catholic High School (http://www.kyhighschoolsoftball.com/e-wmaps2006.htmdirections). All West Junior players and coaches will meet in the Campbell House lobby at 6:10 pm to leave for practice at Lexington Catholic. Players may then drive to practice (approx. a mile). Those players that need a ride may ride with other players or coaches.

• Pizza Party for all players and coaches at 8:30 pm at the Campbell House Inn Pool. All players and coaches are expected to attend. This is for players and coaches only.

Saturday, June 14, 2008 – All Games at University of Kentucky

• Pictures will be taken for each team prior to their first game. All players must be dressed at the University of Kentucky field one hour before your first game. Players will wear their all star uniforms on Saturday.
• Game 1 – 9:00 am East Seniors vs. East Juniors (7 innings)
• Game 2 – 11:00 am West Seniors vs. West Juniors (7 innings)
• 12:30 pm or immediately following Game 2: Kentucky Softball Coaches Association Miss Softball, Class Player of the Year, All State, and Coaching Staff of the Year Awards will be distributed to all those receipients that are in attendance. You must check-in at the press box to have your name announced and receive your award.
• Game 3 – 1:00 pm East Juniors vs. West Seniors (7 innings)
• Game 4 – 3:00 pm East Seniors vs. West Juniors (7 innings)
• Player and Hall of Fame Reception will be held at 8:00 pm at the Crowne Plaza Campbell House Inn
• The All Stars will be in attendance, and the Kentucky Prep Softball Hall of Fame Inductees will be inducted. Inductees include:
