2009 Itinerary for East/West All Stars
All times for East/West Weekend
are EST
Friday, June 12, 2009
- All players must check-in with All Star Directors between 2:00 and 4:30 pm at the Hyatt Regency Hotel.
- Practices will be as follows:
o East Seniors will practice from 5:00 to 6:30 pm at UK Softball (Directions). All East Senior players and coaches will meet in the Hyatt Regency lobby at 4:30 pm to leave for practice at UK. Players may then drive to practice (approx. 3 miles). Those players that need a ride may ride with other players or coaches.
o West Seniors will practice from 6:30 to 8:00 pm at UK Softball (Directions). All West Senior players and coaches will meet in the Hyatt Regency lobby at 6:00 pm to leave for practice at UK. Players may then drive to practice (approx. 3 miles). Those players that need a ride may ride with other players or coaches.
o East Juniors will practice from 5:00 to 6:30 pm at Lexington Catholic High School (Directions). All East Junior players and coaches will meet in the Hyatt Regency lobby at 4:30 pm to leave for practice at Lexington Catholic. Players may then drive to practice (approx. 3 miles). Those players that need a ride may ride with other players or coaches.
o West Juniors will practice from 6:30 to 8:00 pm at Lexington Catholic High School (Directions). All West Junior players and coaches will meet in the Hyatt Regency lobby at 6:00 pm to leave for practice at Lexington Catholic. Players may then drive to practice (approx. 3 miles). Those players that need a ride may ride with other players or coaches.
- Pizza Party for all players and coaches at 8:30 pm (Food Court of the Lexington Center at Rupp Arena). All players and coaches are expected to attend. This is for players and coaches only.
Saturday, June 13, 2009 All Games at
University of Kentucky
- Pictures will be taken for each team prior to their first game. All players must be dressed at the University of Kentucky field one hour before your first game. Players will wear their all star uniforms on Saturday.
- Game 1 9:00 am East Seniors vs. East Juniors (7 innings)
- Game 2 11:00 am West Seniors vs. West Juniors (7 innings)
- 12:30 pm or immediately
following Game 2: Kentucky Softball Coaches Association Miss Softball,
Class Player of the Year, All State, and Coaching Staff of the Year Awards
will be distributed to all those receipients that are in attendance. You
must check-in at the press box to have your name announced and receive
your award.
- Game 3 1:00 pm East Juniors vs. West Seniors (7 innings)
- Game 4 3:00 pm East Seniors vs. West Juniors (7 innings)
- Player and Hall of Fame Reception will be held at 8:00 pm at the Hyatt Regency Hotel
- The All Stars will be in attendance, and the Kentucky Prep Softball Hall of Fame Inductees will be inducted.
